For years I have had laying around, this withering photocopy of a curious newspaper article… it is becoming less and less legible, and I wanted to preserve it here for posterity… for the day when some superior beings, future sociologists and archeologists are conducting studies on the the human species, and what we call today our “modern society”…
The article dates from January 1985 and after a little time on Google I found this equally edifying supplementary information :

“During the hearing the owner’s housekeeper, 22 years old and 257 pounds, testified that Boots had bitten her after she had tripped over him in 1984, causing a head wound that wanted several stitches to close. ”

Note : Names have been deleted to protect the innocent.
